Who do you consider the best tight end in the league?

Me personally no trying to be biased but Jason Witten is hands down the best.

Im not saying Witten cause of his amazing catch, because he has been a solid player for the last 3 years.

Antonio Gates is the best in my opinion. Then it's Jason WItten.

I would have to say Jason Witten because he's a better all around blocker and puts up great stats on a team that spreads the ball around.

Gates is nice but his numbers solely reflect the fact that San Diego has not had a decent wr in ages and he's the go to guy.

Gates numbers this year 833 8 td's and he's the go to guy.
Wittens numbers this year 817 6 td's in a offense that shares the ball.

Antonio Gates is the full package, on blocking and receiving.

But, I have to go with my boy Kellen Winslow Jr. He has some of the best hands Ive ever seen, and is so good that he needs double coverage. ON A TIGHT END. He creates so many mismatches for the Defense, because who are you going to double, Winslow or Braylon Edwards?

Be honest now, would you actually say Witten is the best if that one play where he lost his helmet and kept running had never happened? Would he even be in the conversation? I doubt it. Its just TO and Crayton get so much attention from the D, they forget about Jason Witten.

It goes Winslow, Gates, Jeremy Shockey, then Witten.

Hard to say. Gates and Winslow are great TEs and are almost like adding another receiver out there. However, they aren't as good at blocking as Jason Witten is, who is also a pretty good receiver. Gonzalez is one of the best ever and is having a great year, but he isn't as dominate as he used to be. If I had to make a choice, I'll go with Gates.

Antonio Gates and Tony Gonzales are both better than Witten. Gates is the best. But Witten is a solid player.

Gates, Witeen number 2 and then Gonzo and Winslow... Lets not crown the soldier after one good season

Gates over the last 4 years has 13 tds, 10 tds, 9 tds, and 8 this year.

Winslow was hurt, then hurt, 3 tds, and 5 this year.

Let me use your phrase... hands down the best TE in football.

Tony Gonzalez still is second in the league for TE in yards, First in Catches, and has most TE receiving records.

Second I would say Kellen Winslow JR

I agree as an Eagles fan, I like him a lot. He certainly is better than that overrated crybaby LJ Smith. I think Celek will develop into a nice tight end if Reid ever wakes up and plays him more.

Gates, Gonzalez then a steep drop from there. Winlsow is an injury waiting to happen. and witten benefits from having romo. look and gates and gonzalez; huard/croyle and rivers, they're not as good as romo.
