this is the first time i am hearig this but it is no the front page of practically every sport website on the internet so the word has gottne around.
i think this would be a good deal for both teams. even incude inge in their for all i care.

Asking price is too high for anyone to get both of these players at hte same time...I do not see who the Tigers could give up at this point to make the deal worth while for the Marlins, they want a minimum of 6 prospects with 4 being top tier to get both players at the same time.
EDIT: I can not believe it went through, Yankee fans would be crying about all the potential they lost...good job Detroit, big bat to boost your team and another arm for the back end of the rotation, possibly bullpen if he keeps pitching like he has! But a great deal for them!

it's tough gettin rid of Maybin and Miller both, even 1 of the 2, but getting Cabrera would be a huge pickup, and Dontrelle back with Pudge again, who can maybe help him out a lil along with Kenny Rogers helpin Dontrelle out to turnaround his 2nd half season bust he always has and maybe he could stay solid all season this time, and especially playin at a pitchers ballpark might make it easier for him, and trade would be worth making even if Inge and Thames r both added to it honestly

I keep hearing the MARLINS want more players than the TIGERS are offering. My guess, is it won't happen. But who knows, the Yankees just traded Tyler Clippard to the NATS for a reliever so anything can happen.

I don't think so. The Tigers are only offering Maybin and Miller and that won't be enough for the Marlins.
