This type of thing comes in waves here.
When the site first opened, there was a request posted on the home page by Yahoo for help keeping the site a family environment. One person took that to heart and all she did was cruise every board looking for people to report.
She was proud of her "job" as hall monitor and posted all the accounts she got canceled. At the time, there was no recourse to a violation, which led to cancellation on the first report.
People complained about Lilly, her user name, until finally she was canned by Yahoo. But, many more like her come and go with regularity.
btw. You might find it helpful to change your user name every once in a while. Trolls have a way of zeroing in on a user name, particularly one that gets a lot of attention. When you change your user name, they think you are a new account. They seldom notice the data concerning the length of time you've been in the forum.

The all hell breaking loose area might come quickly. No disrespect to seniors, disabled shoppers or human beings relatively attempting to assist others. It does make me think of,have they have been given a existence? there is not any fairness in reporting, some are given limitless reporting capacity.what's truthfully pathetic is seeing risk loose posts bumped off in minutes. Then a bad, threatening racial slur maintains to be published.they're the PRP. Petty Reporting party. bye

I believe that it happens to everyone far too often. If you read the Yahoo Reporting stuff all it takes is for two users to report you and your question/answer is removed, and protesting it is a waste of time. There's a lot of folks on here with more than one identity and, if one of them is offended by something you contributed, you're toast.

I get violations here and there, but I don't post much anymore. I think some are participating in a report war. I see no sense in some of the things that happen here.

Yes, you missed the reporting war. It happened about 4 weeks ago, and we lost a lot of good posters because of it.

Three so far since last Wed. and counting. Appeals are a joke. Pretty soon the only ones left here with active accounts will be the 5 or 6 trolls who live to cause trouble for the rest of us.
When the site dies, they'll rethink their policies.... or not!
