Ok, so I wrote this poem when there was a deep hole in my heart at the loss of my iPod....it's sort of like a ballad to my ipod, except not really, it just sort of fit the situation....and I wrote it to see if my mom would pity me and give it back, but it didn't work. Anyways, here it is, let me know your thoughts!

You are the music in my heart
Without you my life is silence
Without your love singing that sweet melody, my heart shatters
When you sing that song, I regain life
Every breath we take is the harmony and melody of our love
Without your melody, my harmony is nothing
A whole orchestra could sing a song of our love, but that is nothing compared to the song your love is singing just for me...

THE END! ♫

Ok, to clear some things up....lol. I didn't originally write it about my iPod. I just happened to write it at the same time that I lost it, and it fit, and I wanted to see if my mom would fall for the trick. And I do have a musical instrument in the form of a guitar, so I will definitly try to put some music to it, and I don't have a boyfriend. Glad you all are enjoying it!

And for anyone who wants to see my deeper, more meaningful poems, I have posted other questions on here with my other ones. You'd just have to search around a bit, or I guess go to my answers profile or whatever. So I do write other stuff! lol

It's not so much a poem as it is a song. If you have a musical instrument at home of any sort I suggest that you find notes for this, it's good.

Its not bad but I can't understand why you would write a poem about a machine! I bet if you put your mind to it you could write some really good stuff about more personal stuff that has happened to you. Try it, you may get some of it published.

It's okay but how on earth would you make a poem over an Ipod. To me that's a bit weird but everyone to there own

For me a poem has to have rhythm. It does not inevitably could desire to rhyme even though it desires to hit my thoughts. i think of readability of expression is substantial as properly. i don't want to 2d wager what i'm examining approximately. I consistently seem for what I time era "poetic gem stones"interior the textual content cloth.

I love it. It is a beautiful poem and I think it is really sweet. You wrote it yourself? It is amazing. I have never heard a poem better than that.
