O'hhhh erm.....can I remember that far back? Getting old....half a century after Xmas!!
Well, I was about 11. Such a sad time, all the magic was gone. But it does come back again when your children are born, and again when the grandchildren arrive.
How can we say Santa doesn't exist when we see it in the eyes of our children lighting up with excitement on Christmas Eve waiting for the sound of Santa's sleigh on the roof tops....
xXx

I was about 8/9
I found out from lots of different things. At school it was always considered 'uncool' if you believed in him, so many people pretended that they didnt believe in him, even though they did. Eventually I just believed myself.
Another thing that supported this was the fact that my mother would sign the card from santa as 'ho, ho, ho' in her writing!
it was unbelievable! Her writing is so identifiable!
Also the fact that I found the letters that I 'sent' to santa in my dad's desk, when he said he would send them
My brother always went on too about how he didn't exist.
Eventually I just stopped, and it's actually quite upsetting, because now there is nothing to be truly excited about. I remember not being able to go to sleep because santa was coming. My parents then told me that if I didn't sleep he wouldn't come. It was just exciting and something nice to look forward too. Shame though
But when I eventually 'convinced' myself that he didn't exist, I still told my mom that I believed in him just so I would get more presents! It was very naughty..but all my other friends were doing it...lol
man, I wish that I still believed in him.
It's so sad

I had no Santa dream. I was five when I knew for sure that there was no Santa, but I don't think I ever believed in him. He's fun anyway!
P.S. I was thinking about this the other day, and I think I never believed in Santa, because people always asked, "Do you believe in Santa?" If he was real, what would be all the concern if I believed or not. I never got asked, "Do you believe in Jesus?" and I always did.

A very young 6.
I asked Santa for an action-man,Santa left me an empty box!
When I asked my dad he just said "he is a deserter"
Anyhow everyone believes in Santa, that is a silly question!

I never had a dream of Santa to be shattered. We grew up knowing he was a fictional character and we knew where our gifts came from. So, there was no harm done. Good luck. 2D
