It means all their propaganda since 9/11 was worthless if we win so they have to do everything in their power to make sure we don't under a Republican president. I think the fact that Osama is endorsing the Democratic party is very telling.

The democrats, like many millions of americans know that we will never turn Iraq into a democratic nation as bad as the republicans want that, or say that they do..The Republicans dont care about the nation of Iraq, it is the money being spent there that is benefiting both Bush and Cheney..We opened a can of worms in 2003 when we went in there and they (The republicans) had no clue how to get out. Now we are stuck there spending billions of dollars and losing countless lives for something that is not going to happen. Etc, etc, etc.....

The only way to end the war with this administration is defund it.... period.
The picture Bush is trying to paint in regards to funding...is that of a soldier standing in Iraq without gasoline for his humvee or bullets for his weapon... That's just ignorant.
No money = war is over.
Honestly I think America would have alot more patience if we were given at least some kind of timetable... benchmark, goals....SOMETHING ! ANYTHING !
85% of Iraqi's want us out.
63% of Americans want us out.
I thought conservatives were all about the "majority rules".... so at what point does the majority get a say in this ?
It's not about "playing politics"...it's about forcing the war to a close. A war that shouldn't even be taking place to begin with.
Anyway...that's how I feel about it.

Dems are not the only ones to play politics. I have no doubt something similar would happen if the shoe was on the other foot.
Politicians are politicians, Democrat, Republican or independent. They have to play politics, it is what they live for.

I consider Bush to be the one playing politics with the funding.
Now he wants to go after Iran. Are you ready to sign up and serve?
