In general, colors that contrast with your eye color will make your eyes pop the most. Greens and purples are great for brown eyes! If you have gold flecks in your eyes, a gold shadow can help bring those out (if you don't want a solid gold look, try using gold as a highlighter or use another color with gold sparkles in it). Experiment to find out what exact shades look best on you -- e.g. some people look better in blue-greens, others in yellow-greens.

For a brigther look, I've also seen some girls with brown eyes who look great in reddish/burgundy and orange-ish/orange-red colors -- if done wrong these can be rather guady, but if done right they can be very pretty, especially if you have a warm skintone!

And of course everyone can look good in some sort of neutral. Experiment to find out what colors look best with your eyes and skintone -- try browns, beiges, grey/black, silver, etc. (For example with my pale, warm skintone, I look best in warm browns and beiges but look bad in greys!)

Have fun and good luck!

To show off the brown, head towards light and dark purple hues. They will contrast your eye color and highlight your eyes. I have one brown eye and one hazel one so I kind of know how you feel. A darker hue on the lower half of your lid and a lighter dusting of the brighter one above it all the way up to the brow bone. Then, use a plum eye liner or a chocolate brown one. A coat of chocolate mascara will be best because basic black is too harsh for most people. Good luck!

I'd wear some thing light and natural for the day and dramatic at night.

Day time, browns and golds, to bring out tones in your eyes, and at night, dark brown and maybe blues, greens or purples, depending on what you're wearing.

The best way to find out what looks best is to be adventurous and try stuff. Go to the department stores and try out the stuff there (not on your eyes, though, your hand is safer) and if they offer free make overs, take them. Go to Walmart and buy some cheap brands in colors you think you might like, and try them out. Go to Sephora, and ask for advice from their staff. Have fun with it!

For a natural look that still looks great stick with neutral shade of browns with shimmer or matte colors.
For something different try soft shades of purples and green but never lay it on to thick.
A color that will be great for an evening look,
line the eyes with grey shadow and blend.

I also have brown eyes and brown hair, I have found that Gold and Brown eyeshadows look the best, and they are relatively insexpensive. Remember, things don't have to be expensive to work!

I have the same eye & hair color
I've found that green purple & dark blue look good
but go light on the shadow
too much of any color just looks bad

gold shades
green (darker)
you can use black around the lash line, and add a caramel brown color for smokey eyes
use black volumizing mascara
and a a brown eyeliner(lightish brown)
but a with eye liner( this is going to sound weird but it works) and in the corner of your eye(the corner closest to your nose) line that corner with some whie eyeliner) it gives the illusion of big eyes.

hope i help!

Maybelline New York has a certain kind of eye shadow that has the perfect shade for different eye colors and also shows you how to apply it to make your eyes look amazing.

because you've a worry-free complexion and blonde hair, get pink eyeshadow. no longer too bright or user-friendly, yet substantive. you would possibly want to contour your creases with a medium brown to entice better interest for your eyes, and make it darker contained in the outer corners. i love shimmery colorations the finished. and placed on the black eyeliner and mascara, yet smudge the eyeliner in a touch to make it look better organic. conceal lady makes an eyeliner with a smudger on one end to attempt this somewhat
