My aunt is raising a her step-grandchild who's of a different race or rather biracial because of the untimely death of her mother. She's been having her for 7 years now and the child is well adjusted and happy. I don't think her race has anything to to with it. My aunt also raises foster children, who at times are of different races, and there seems to be no problems with the family dynamics at all. Good luck. 2D

I think they will only feel uncomfortable if the parents make a big deal about it or constantly tell them they are different. I have two adopted cousins who are black and we are white and neither one of them has ever felt any less than like a memeber of our family.
It all depends on how they are treated.

depends how they were raised. if they were raised in a fairly racist family, chances are they will be uncomfortable, but if they are raised in a race-accepting family and are friends and know people of different races, then they will likely be fine.

It is hard to predict how each individual child might feel but to me a family is a family if there is love and care and concern.
Race should never be a factor. People are people.
