Epistemologicl integrity in the subject of "thinking." The epistemology must follow one of the 12 forms of syllogism that lead to possibly true conclusions (60 forms lead to necessarily false conclusions.) The metaphysics must match empirical existence, and what one knows or believes about empirical existence, because every concept in language except proper nouns represents a metaphysical value. The ethics must correspond to the metaphysics and be as rational, epistemologically, as the metaphysics.

The easy answer is that it's the love of wisdom, which it is, but it's also thinking about fundamental truths, finding the most important questions and it involves the willingness to question everything.
