Sometimes I'll have a young lady come up and attempt to strike conversation. I never know if she's interested or just being friendly. The only thing I know to do is check to see if she's just as social with other people. Just wondering if there are any subtle things to pay attention to.

if she leans in toward you, stands with her feet facing you and seems genuinely interested in what you are saying, she is probably interested. if she touches you (say on the arm), she is sending definite signals that she is interested. or, she is just a big flirt. hard to know the difference there.

I had that problem when I worked with the public. Many of my customers mistook my good customer service skills for 'interest'...they were completely mistaken.
Even here, at Y! Answers...a few of the people I've wanted to speak with, just because I enjoyed their talent or humor, seemed to be under the wrong impression.
If I 'wanted' someone, I would speak (or type, as the case may be) in an entirely different manner. In person, I probably would blush and perhaps drown myself in that person's eyes. In the written word, I would not just be 'shooting the breeze', the conversation would be a lot more personal in nature.

As a man, you'll never know at first. But if she's there for interest and you aren't a complete downer to her and turn her off, she'll let you know soon enough... they seem to plan that stuff out like it's a chess match.. and we men are just along for the ride lol.

i do no longer do phony i've got faith the version is honesty and coronary heart felt i attempt to persist with if i cant say something superb do no longer say something by means of fact i do have an ingredient that sees threw the b/s and a mouth to lower back it up and that i do no longer choose to be the guy the hurts yet another individual properly i attempt to be that way yet you and that i the two recognize i need to be extra useful at it yet there are some issues you only can no longer yet snigger at
