how can i get footage together for a buffy video?

i have the dvds but i duno how to get it from the dvd to the pc

I expect it would depend on your PC. You may also need video editing software.

It may be hard. I think the DVD people tried to make it hard to copy video. At worst, you should be able to output to NTSC (old style TV signal) and re-compress it to something you can work with.
