Craig has the right answer, but is giving it up for anyone that knows the last player he is talking about.

"I'm right" - you're missing this player in your list, Mays is not 1 of the 6.

Craig, Mays had 3283 hits, you mean 2062 runs. He doesn't make this list because he had "only" 523 2B's.

I'm right has the full list (now):

Aaron
Bonds
Murray
Musial
Palmeiro
Yaz

Rafael Palmeiro
Stan Musial-3,630 Hits, 725 Doubles, 475 Homeruns, 1,951 Runs batted in.
Barry Bonds
Eddie Murray
Hank Aaron.
Carl Yastrzemski

EDIT: KRIS look at my list it's right.

Well it's really hard because a lot of the guys above me edited, but not the answers, just corrections. I'm not saying they are cheaters, I'm saying they played fairly and just wanted to get the right answer in here, just to fix their mistakes. No hard feelings. So I'm not sure it's just 10 points go ahead and give it to someone else if you think they had it first.

But I did have it first (I think) before anyone.

For the guy below me - Willie Mays only had 2,062 hits - whoops, runs, not hits.....dumb me.

Barry Bonds
Hank Aaron
Rafael Palmeiro
Eddie Murray
Carl Yastrzemski

And then a guy who spent his whole career with one team.....I have to leave this one for somebody else.

Well before Biggio's time, and this guy is a HOFer.

Brian - Gehrig, Ruth and Robinson all fell short of the 550 doubles that Kris has included in his question.

2007-12-04 08:00:32 · answer #5 · answered by Craig S 7 · 3 0

There are 6 players. They are:

Hank Aaron
Willie Mays
Eddie Murray
Stan Musial
with
Barry Bonds*
and
Rafael Palmerio*

*=Notes that the player used performance enhancing drugs to increase his numbers and statistics during some point in his career.

Thank you, Craig S. I removed Lou Gehrig, Frank Robinson, and Babe Ruth from my list. I thought it was 500 doubles. It was my mistake.

Thanks for the question, Kris! I saw Carl Yastremnski but I forgot about him.
