You could take this prompt in several different directions. You could talk about the negativity and how it is helping make our country obease. The movie super size me would really help you with this argument. Or you could take the opposite approach and talk about how the fast food chains have recognized how bad their food is for you and are changing their menus accordingly. (salads, grilled chicken instead of breaded, etc. ) Either way, good luck :)

That shouldn't be too hard to finish. You could add in the whole "eating healthy" campaign that subway launched to gain some good PR. Clearly, if you're an intelligent, rational human being, you would know that this is complete bullshit. Their meals include a lot more than just their sandwiches, not to mention additional items added in while making the sub.

I think the spork did catch on. You can still get them with your beans and cheese at Taco Bell. Or sometimes at KFC. I'll never forget when I was a teen working at the local drive thru and stocking up the spork packs. I could say "spork packs" all day long. :) They weren't fun to stock, but they are fun to talk about. :) I have seen sporks come mostly in white, but some come in black. I have never seen a metal spork, but I;ll bet one exists. There are some things that are easy to eat with a spork, like corn and beans or coleslaw. But there are some things you just want to stab with the tines of a plastic fork, like green beans or a taco salad. I think that in the future the spork will have a place in the continuum of silverware beside the pickle fork, gravy ladle and the butter knife. All in all, I think that sporks rock and hopefully, we will never see the day that we can't get a spork. :)

"Hundreds of millions of people buy fast food every day without giving it much thought, unaware of the subtle and not so subtle ramifications of their purchases," writes the National Magazine Award-winning Schlosser. "They rarely consider where this food came from, how it was made, what it is doing to the community around them. . . . The whole experience is transitory and soon forgotten."

fast food is bad food. Copy and paste this 200 times. If you win the 1,000 dollars, send me a few because I kind of want a happy meal.
