lets instead decriminalize prostitution ( more dems buy p*#*y than republicans) instead regulate and tax it like any other business, that gets pimps out of the equation and lets the girls be their own boss. thoughts?

in many European countries it is legal and/or regulated - you don't see them rushing to criminalize it there.

There is no reason for the government to be involved, as another person answered. However, they are involved so they should be regulating and taxing prostitution rather than prosecuting it.

This is a state issue. Prostitution is not illegal federally.
Its funny in Nevada it is the only Profession that they don't say how much tax money they get

The fact is that prostitution is a business arrangement between two consenting adults. There is no reason for government to be involved.

And the same logic applies to drug legalization. I use neither hookers nor drugs, but I'd like to see both legalized, regulated, and taxed.

It's not illegal in the UK but it hasn't made much difference. You might as well try and tax it w/in marriage, never going to happen.
