How would you approach someone that you have never met before, don't have (really) any classes with at school, isn't in your grade, and is always with his friends (whom I don't know either)?
Besides in between classes, the only real time when I see this person is at the end of the day.

If you have a coffee shop nearby ask them to go for coffee, even if its down to the local Kwik Trip. You can talk on your way down there, you can offer to buy the drinks and if the weather is nice, sit outside and enjoy yourselves. Just be yourself and be *polite*. If you want a friend, be a friend.

Easy.
1. Eye contact
2. Speak about school, your non-school activities, and movies you love
3. Ask them about the information you've told them in 2
4. Be enthusiastic if you like some of the answers you get
5. Invite him over for a movie, to a coffee shop or a movie out
6. Once you get close enough, start making plans to try and kiss him
7. You're all set from there, nothing more to say
!!!!

what u do is make them approach u..drop something ( important cause they may take it lol) and make them pick it up.. or have a personality that makes them want to be around u

You could ask him directions somewhere... and when he starts to tell you you can say "oh by the way I'm _____"... "Nice to meet you"... and then after he's done you can say "hey thanks... I owe you a coffee sometime"... then let it sit for a day or two and ask him if you can buy him a cup of coffee...
