counterfeit bills?

I am selling my xbox 360 to someone on craigs list. I am concerned about counterfeit bills. How can I distinguish a real bill from a fake, both with 20, 50 , and 100 dollar bills.

ALSO IF I ACCEPT A CASHIERS CHECK, HOW CAN I TELL IT IS A LEGITIMATE CHECK

All a counterfeit pen tells you is that the paper is correct. If you use a black light (UV light), the mylar security thread glows under black light. Not only that, but each denomination glows a different color. That will catch fakes where they take a one or five dollar bill, bleach the ink off, and use a color copier to print the design of a $100 (of course, the watermark will be wrong, too).
Fake cashiers checks are much harder to detect. I would make it clear that you will only accept cashiers checks from major nationwide banks, so you can take it to your local branch and have them verify it for you.
One other thing - You may want to limit yourself to selling to US buyers only. Too many scammers elsewhere. Also, consider making your buyer pay for registered and insured shipping from USPS. That protects you and the buyer from loss ordamage in transit.

There is a pen that you can swipe on bills to see if they are legit. I just did a quick google on "pen for fake currency" and this was the first hit http://www.hottrix.com/html/Counterfeit.shtml
I'm sure you can find it cheaper through a legitimate source (like amazon) if you look.

As for cashiers checks, tough one. Some of the best fakes fool even the banks.

I would ask for a postal money order.

you're extremely good and persons only won't be in a position to determine it! i think of human beings could desire to end following guy-made religions and stick to the religion created by potential of Jesus, himself, the Catholic Church. not something is greater counterfeit than Jehovah Witnesses. Heck, even Fundies are greater authentically Christian than JWs. you do not understand plenty with regard to the substantial, the two, do you?

i know if u go to like office max stores like that they sell like pens to where u draw a line down it and if its fake i think the color changes if its not it doesnt good luck!
