My computer's playing up at the moment - I can't copy anything over so I havn't been able to find out for myself.

You can, but the real question is why are you still using floppies? Floppies can't hold hardly anything these days because they are limited to 1.5MB. You are better off burning to CD, or better yet getting s USB thumb drive.

sure is! It used to be necessary when floppies were the biggest removable media disks.

In fact if you've got a file that is over 1.4Mb zipped you can get winzip to span the zip file over multiple floppies... but if you get too many floppies in the set the chance of getting it back off the floppies isn't great... a failure anywhere on any of the floppies will make the whole zip file unusable.
