while i was taking the train home one day i usually sit by the window and stare at the trees and building while listening to music. On the side of one building some vandalist wrote "Logic is a threat". At first i just though it was some kid trying to be bigger than the law. Then i started to think about it and couldnt really think of an explanation of why this person wrote it. My question is what do you think this vandalist meant by "Logic is a threat"

Logic can constitute a challenge to long held beliefs that we cannot support by fact and reason. Applying logic can blow these myths apart and threaten our habitual patterns of thought and behavior. Interestingly, vandalism is illogical and by reverse or false logic could therefore not be deemed threatening !

My guess is that it was a statement made to make you think.
If there's a meaning behind it, it's probably that logic is a threat to the government?

logic doesn't compute with God in a religious sense (though it does to some extent with spirituality or deism)

that would be my guess.
