This is a difference of squares:

In general if you have:
a² - b²

You can factor this as:
(a + b)(a - b).

In your case you have:
(3a)² - (10)²

So rewrite this as:
(3a + 10)(3a - 10)

a^2 - b^2 = (a+b)(a-b)

a = 3a, b= 10

(3a+10)(3a-10)
