Where this question even comes from, scares me.

a) the Constitution, also called the bill of rights, makes no statement regarding Grand Jury's roles at all. I only speaks of public trials to secure the rights of the accused.

b) A Grand Jury is a States tool to help it determine if there is enough evidence to indite an accused and usually only in felony cases. These proceedings are closed to the public and not even the defense attorney is allowed in ,within normal circumstances.

c) The Supreme Court has ruled that in certain circumstance the public may be denied access when it would jeopardize the process or the safety of witnesses.

True ,cause if a person is falsely accused then the public may step in to bring attention to the whole thing.
