well it is these kind of questions that keep racism going, even though you may not think so, if we were all the same colour, these questions would`nt be asked, we all bleed red, we live on the same planet, racism is ignorance, bad education or just hatred of another race or religeon, the planet is getting smaller as we travel more, also must we use god as an excuse to kill, if racism did`nt excist this question would`nt be asked or need an answere, does that help,.

i think of that any racisim is an ingredient effect of the damaging economic device. If Obama had no longer inherited this economic device, you have so lots extra passive inhabitants. The ironic ingredient is, if McCain and Palin had honestly gained (in another parallel universe), we could probable have a replay of the 1929 melancholy by means of fact the Republican economic view could have been same to what performed out then. the money suppply could have been locked up only as in those days. thankfully, Obama had Ben Bernanke as Federal Reserve Chairman who studied and printed assorted academic journals on the blunders of the large melancholy and a minimum of prevented an excellent better calamity. If McCain and Palin have been elected, and a actual melancholy had performed out (considering the fact that Republicans ideologically won't be able to help massive spending even for the sake of saving the rustic), we could hear wailing such as you should no longer have faith... and Palin asserting "Are situations gonna get extra useful??? You betcha"

I dont think its doing either. there was racism 100 years ago, they'll be racism 100 years from now. The only difference is it's becoming more taboo so you have to be a closet racist or get verbally torn apart. Im against racism but I think we've taken this anti racism thing too far. (example - A radio DJ once got severely ticked off because several young rape victims were describing their attacker as "a hispanic male". We cant say anything nowdays without someone screaming racism and getting offended.

I would definately agree that it's increasing and decreasing. The other day in my school four people were excluded for racists comments to two of my friends that were black. No matter how much we want it to go some people are just so ignorant and stubborn and see racism as a quick and easy way to offend someone.
Although we are seeing a lot of campaigns being run for anti-racism nowadays.

When people choose to stop making everything about race, then racism will stop being such an issue. Race pimps like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton aren't helping the situation at all because once they're involved it becomes a circus sideshow. Where were they when 4 or 5 blacks raped, tortured and killed two whites? They claim to be for ALL OPPRESSED PEOPLE. Seems they remain silent on many issues that they should be involved in.
New Orleans has had 205 murders this year - of which 95% are young black males killed by young black males. Where is the outcry from these "activists?" Why aren't they tackling THE main problem for the black community in New Orleans?
I was raised in a racist household, and when i got married i refused to pass that on to my kids. My oldest son was accused of saying that he was a member of the KKK at school ... he came home in tears and asked "Daddy, what is the KKK?" Like I said, when some of us choose to see everything through the lens of racism, everything will be about racism. It makes me sick.

Neither. I think there will always be some level of racism. People naturally categorize other people as being a member of their group or not. A lot of times "their group" is categorized by racial or ethnic group or nationality, sometimes religion, sometimes sexual identity, some by what sports team they're fans of. People will also identify others as being with them or against them and will act towards them accordingly.

Unfortunatley racism is not declining, it is just hidden. Its something embedded in our society and will be very difficult to erase. Things have improved, but I wouldn't go as far as saying it is declining. People still discriminate, even on Yahoo answers people are sending racist post. This reflects what is really going on in peoples minds...

Increasing. Fueled by immigration in many countries. Also, I think anti-white/western racism is also increasing. Backlash from many years.

It's increasing. The trick is to not force people together. Let it happen naturally.

I'll say increasing in some aspects and declining in others. I think it's always been one step forward and two steps back.
