I haven't had any problems yet. Although, I am unhappy with getting a REAL person on the phone for help.

I have seen no difference in the service, but I have seen the difference with the billing. I need a new phone, and now they say I have to get a more expensive plan, I told them to go to he&&. I've had the same plan for almost 11 years. I don't need rollover minutes, or any additional services. All the items I need, are already included. Why would I pay $15 more for less minutes and fewer options. Da. If I have to I'll go to a tracfone. I am not paying $15 dollars more for a new contract, what's wrong with the one I've had for 11 years. I know the answer, they want more money..... He** no. I'll Go.... to another company. Eat that AT&T.....

I had Cingular before and then my phone was stolen after it became AT&T they worked with me to resolve the situation and closed that account without any big drama. It could be that your phone needs upgrading or you are on the wrong plan. Call and talk to customer service and see if they can resolve your issue. Good Luck!

maybe where you live has something to do with it
i have never had a problem with service
the only time i ever don,t have service is in a metal building or something like that
i never had it roam even when i am out of town
it does drop calls occasionally while i am driving but now i know where that is going to happen before it does
i am on the east coast but according to their map their coverage gets less and less going west

as far as customer service i haven,t had to deal with them yet

Service was great. Never had a dropped call, always had 5 bars. Customer service was a bit crappy and extra features costs way too much. Ok if you just want to talk and once in a while text, bad if you want internet, IM, unlimited text, etc.

Used to have AT&T: outrageous roaming charges, too many dropped calls and dead zones. I've been with T-Mobile for two years (was also with Sprint (hated it) and Cingular (still hated it).

I had the opposite experience. My service has vastly improved since they changed over to AT&T. Could be subjective to where you live I guess, but my coverage has been awesome. Plus, their customer service is 100 times better.
