when I bring home my little bunny? He's a dwarf bunny so he's pretty tiny. I honestly don't know how they will react because I don't think they've ever seen a bunny before.

Believe it or not cats and rabbits can get along very well together. The key is to introduce them to each other slowly. Keep your bunny in its cage the first time you introduce them and bring in one cat at a time to reduce the anxiety of the bunny. The cat will show curiosity about the rabbit and vice versa. Let them check each other out with the bunny safe inside the cage, keeping an eye on them. After they get used to one another, they should be fine. The same goes for dogs.

Roz, they will kill it!!! An adult may stand a chance , but a baby will not survive a single day! Do NOT let the cats near it without you being there. And then put the bunny back in a seperate cage. I know this for a fact. I have cats and had rabbits. the rabbits are no more.

We had a rabbit when I was growing up and cats, too. They will be very curious and if you let the rabbit loose they will probably chase it. This happened to us by accident. The rabbit was loose getting some exercise and we didn't realize the cat was around. Did you know that rabbits actually scream when they are scared?? Anyway, keep the bunny separated from the cats until you are certain they won't torment it. .

Keep the bunny in its carrier and introduce it to the cats. If you hear lots of hissing and growling, It's probably not a good idea to leave the rabbit out with the cats. You may have to do a slow introduction every day until they get used to each other. Keep in mind that it may never happen and you might have to keep them separated always.

Not sure how they will react, BUT I will suggest to keep bunny in a cage protected. I am going to go even further--Feed your bunny fresh corn and parsley. you can feed him/her pellets every once in a while, but natural food is going to be best. Also Try timothy hay.

I do not know how they will react but I do know how they react in the wild and they are natural enemies which usually means doomsday for the bunny . Please be careful, OK.
