There's a Sam's Cafe Kabob in Berkeley. Judging by the name, I would say it's a sign you should check it out. Maybe you could take me there for my birthday, lol! ;)

By now I assume you've already had lunch but Olive Gardens is good if you haven't (try Fettuccine Alfredo...yummy), not sure if there is one near Ashby but it is worth the drive either way.
