It's gravity. And, it's true of *every* planet & object orbiting the sun.

Gravity
Science is "Ughhh" because no one has taught you how fun it is....
Venus' forward motion will keep it in motion where there is no air to slow it down. Einstein says gravity curves space.
You know those coin tornadoes in fast food restaurants? The ones used to extract change from mothers who keep their snot- nosed kids amused as pennies and nickels seem to whirl faster and faster as they get close to the center hole? Gravity works in the same way. Venus and Earth and all the other planets spin in its own part of the sun's curve of space. The coins slow down because of friction against the plastic shell. Venus keeps going because there is no friction in space.
But, who is going to get all those snot covered coins out of the bottom of the vortex coin tornado? Do you think they wash them before they take them to the bank and make some poor teller grind them up in a coin counter? Do you think they issue haz-mat suits to the people who collect the coins?

"Hydraulic buoyancy". The right answer in science is always that one that you can hardly spell!

I can see why you say "uuugh" if your science questions are this astoundingly dull. Tell your teacher that I told you to complain and ask for better materials.
