Existentialist philosophers.
Sartre's Being & Nothingness is amazing
Kierkegard's Fear and Trembling is just unputdownable
Camus' Myth of Sisyphus is in own league
Simone de Beauvoir's The Second Sex is a classic
Heidegger's A History of Sexuality is the best in this area
Nietszche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra could only be by him
Paul Tillich, Gabriel Marcel, Franz Kafka, etc are all special. I admire their thesis that Existenz precedes Essence and their considered and considerate opposition to the Age of Reason.

I think it would be the philosophers from the classic age, just like Tales, Plato, Socrates and Aristoteles, because they represent the beginning of this way of living and thinking, a way that was broken during the middle age by 500 years, but theirs philosophy was very constructive contribution to be returned to the revival and remains to this day.

My favorite philosophers are Rosseau and Voltaire. They encouraged people to revolt against the French king Louis XVI

Plato for giving us the foundation to think and Bertrand Russell for his clarity and straight forward rationale.

I used to have a favourite but not anymore...they are all pretty good, even the ones that got their assumptions wrong.
