I have it all. I have flutters and feelings that tickle and I also have thumps and twitches. I think it depends on how they are positioned. At 20 weeks there is still alot of room for movement so maybe your little one is taking advantage of it. Everyone's pregnancy is different. Congrats.

Hey! I am 35 weeks pregnant and it never felt like gas too be. I felt the little flutters, but now it is like thumps from the inside. She is getting bigger now, so I feel her ever move which feels like a massage from the inside. Congrats. Enjoy it.

The kicks to me also feel like thumps, it's kinda hard to explain. Usually when someone asks me what it feels like I tell them it feels like life growing inside of me -- I am a natural born smart a s s. I am about as far along as you also. I'm having twins so the movements are beginning to feel almost constant, I think the boys are sleeping in shifts..lol...and the best part is when they move around and I can see my belly move. When I was pregnant with my first daughter she'd move around and even under my shirt it was very noticeable and random people would say something about it, I thought that was funny when they'd do that.

That sounds very normal. I had flutters at about 14 weeks, but I started feeling real kicks around 18 weeks. They were very similar to how you described them.

I have an anterior placenta and so I didn't feel definite, regular movement till 29 weeks or so -- the placenta took my lumps for me! For me still (37+ weeks) it feels like twitches, thumps or even a small earthquake. Quite normal -- enjoy!

I first felt mine at 17 weeks. They felt like muscle spasms/twitches in my belly. I have never felt flutters as most people describe them as.

Yep, it's normal. Some people describe it as popping corn going off. Congrats! I'm 20 weeks too.

EACH PHASE OF PREGNANCY WARRANTS A DIFFERENT SENSATION WHEN THE BABY KICKS. TYPICALLY FIRST TRIMESTER:FLUTTERS, SECOND TRIMESTER:THUMPS, FLUTTERS ETC AND THIRD TRIMESTER, LARGER THUDS, LONGER FLUTTERS THAT GIVE YOU AN EERIE SENSATION, AND SLOSHING AROUND...ITS AMAZING
