why is it practised in egypt ( not necessarly in egypt ) but if u can it will b better

Polygamy has been around almost from the beginning of time. Most animals are polygamous and humans are no exception.
From the earliest recordings in the Bible after Genesis 3 there has been polygamy. If you read Jeremiah chapter 3 you will also see that God himself had two wives. You will be very surprised to read which one he divorced.
Because there are more women than men on earth, about 2.3 women to men, polygamy should still be the rule. But today, because of women's lib. polyandry would also have to be considered viable as well.
Among the societies of the world most are still polygamous then comes monogamous and only a few are polyandry.
Personally from the studies I have read, plural marriage should be the correct way to live. Contrary to the first guys comment...lust has nothing to do with plural marriage.
If you know the definition of "Lust" you would know it means the depriving of someone having and using their property or belongings and using them yourself.
