I've heard that regular mattresses have flame retardants that are bad for you, and wool ones don't. Does it really matter?

The wool might be a blend of polyester and wool. The manufacturer can say wool or down or silk with only less than 10% of that fiber. Most matteress are f\lame retardent by law.

I would consult with consmer reports website, I've used them a thousand times and find them immensely helpful.
