My period ended Friday (after lasting 6 days). All of a sudden I got another period last night (monday). What is going on with me? I have been on the same birthcontrol for over a year with periods always on time, and NEVER have had 2 periods in a row. I always had trouble with them being spaced too far apart before I got on BC. Can anyone give me advice? I am so upset because I leave for vacation tomorrow and will be wearing a swimsuit all the time. This is just so upsetting :(

Stress (whether the thing causing the stress is good or bad) and infection are two possibilities for this kind of bleeding that you are having. Because you are getting ready to go on vacation this sounds like it could be stress related. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well (you can do this by phone and talk to his/her nurse) to see what they say.
