I just saw in patients room that A Krispy Creme truck was in a high speed chase, 80 miles with an undisclosed amount of doughnuts in the back. All I know is I saw doughnuts flying out of the back of the truck! I am so sad and perplexed over the loss of all of the doughnuts, what are your feelings on this?

I call ******** on this on! The trucks are really GMC panel wagons with less than a 300 cubic in straight six cylinder motor. Their profile pushing through the air causes enough drag to knock down any top speed of the motors limited capability. The rack and pinion steering and split rim front axle doesn't handle well so handling at top speed would be impossible. The rear differentials can only take about 400ft/lbs of torque before snapping like a twig. I really doubt it was going that fast. The cops could have stopped it at anytime they wanted. That's why the criminals started throwing the donuts, to buy time and hopefully throw the cops off their trail. It probably would have worked if they hadn't ran out of donuts.
