I am doing a research project for my AVID II class and It is on assult and bullying in schools. I was a victim of both bullying and assult last year. I was jumped and repeatedly called the same names over and over (whore slut b*tch...the usual) I went to my school about it and nothing was done...well something was done, they were told to leave me a lone. did they? No. The school didn't do anything for me after that and I eventually had file assult charges and now the girls are off of my back. I was hoping to get some personal experiences from anyone who has been a victim or currently is a victim.

I was bullied in school by a group of girls who threatened to beat me if I didn't give them money. They would do this on a daily basis and I was afraid to go to school. I would literally get ill before going to school. One day I lost my money and wasn't able to pay them off. So I had to stand up to them and either get my butt whipped or vice versa. When I stood up to them, they backed down. I wish I would have known that, but I was afraid. Eventually, I went to another school and then I had to deal with sexual harassment from some of the boys there. Of course, I didn't speak up or defend myself and endured the treatment. Today I'm more mature and I don't tolerate anyone trying to bully me or harass me at all. I also teach my children not to tolerate this kind of treatment and I also teach them to be kind to others. Sure was, just two years ago. I quit public school and am now homeschooled. I had went to the principal repeatedly as well, and he did nothing and expected for me to ignore it. But, you cannot really ignore people stealing from you and insulting you every two seconds. I had school books stolen, when papers were passed up - people writing profanity on my papers, even to the point of people throwing you against a locker countless times.
Just shows you how much people will do to appear cool in highschool - half those people were friends with my althrough school, and then some of them got into drugs, other into self-mutilation and alcohol. I didn't get into it - so I was their target.

I was made to carry this boys books for him until one day I got tired of his sh^t and kicked his a$$ down a flight of stairs. Never had any problems after that. I learned how to fight. Blessed Be
