This is the message board about SPF.

It looks risky.
The short percent of float is 52 percent.

But they could be wrong.
The current ratio is 6.8.
That should protect it from bankruptcy for a while.
They have not posted positive earnings per share since Semtember 2006.

The stocks I own that have been doing well in the past few days are CHIC and HSOA.

Great idea.... Ask strangers (whose qualifications and motives can never be known) where to invest your money.

Good luck with that!

As far as SPF is concerned... The professional rating service I use calls them a sell. Chart pattern shows a bullish falling wedge. So I just don't know. It's a "gamble" and a good trader doesn't gamble.

A good trader doesn't mess with penny stocks either. The last place a newbie should be is in penny stocks.

In my opinion you're looking at this all wrong. Take a year. Read as much as you can on investing and trading. It will help you avoid the typical errors of a new trader (and therefore save you some bucks).......

In my opinion, NO! Wait until you have a confirmed uptrend bouncing off of the moving average. If you can do options I would do a PUT on it until it turns upward again.
