YES!!!!! and it stayed with the RECORD&PLAY button pressed already, so all I had to do was unpause it.

I probably still have some of those home-made mixtapes somewhere!

LOOOOOL!! oh wow!! Sure DID! I neeeeeded the following songs: Kiss - Prince, Shoop- Salt n Pepa, I Wanna $ex You Up - Color Me Badd, Tennessee - Arrested Development. Anything else was just a bonus, so I had about 6 tapes with those songs on them and other jams.

Yes. When I was younger, I loved REO Speedwagon and their song of "Back on the Road Again". I had a whole tape of nothing but that song. It was kind of our theme song when we were out driving around partying.

oh my goodness, YES! That's so funny you mention this, I haven't thought about that just until now that you've mentioned it!

It was such a pain in the @ss because I wanted to wait until the DJ stopped talking before I recorded and the DJ always talked when the music started but stopped when the words were singing!

Yeah and I'd be mad if the DJ cut in or didn't play the whole song then I'd have to wait, with my finger on the record button, until they played it again.

Yes, and I would rewind them over and over again so that I could write down the words. I still know all the words to all the Salt & Pepa songs.

Yeah...those were the good old days.. LOL Also, hoping that the stupid radio moderator wouldn't cut my song off before the end with his meaningless chatter. And when this inevitably happened, I would call in, and request my song again....wait 10 minutes...request it again....(in a high, fake voice)...like he didn't know.....ha ha ha....
