Shouldn't conservatives just drop their opposition to abortion...?

Personally, I am moderate on the issue, but for those who really get their panties in a twist, wouldn't it be a self-correcting problem? Liberals / lefties / progressives / democrats are far and away the primary customer base for abortion clinics. What other herd thins itself?

You do know that plenty of conservatives also get abortions (or arrange for their wives/girlfriends/daughters) to have them, don't you?

And you do know that plenty of liberals/Democrats actually do have families, don't you?

And there are, I'm sure, conservative "poofies," as you call them. Like Mary Cheney, Ted Haggard, Mark Foley, and Larry Craig. And gay couples do have children, whether through adoption or insemination.

We liberals believe one should have the choice of whether or not to become a parent. We also tend to believe in preventing unwanted pregnancies in the first place. If you conservatives would throw your support behind affordable birth control (which many of you all seem to oppose), you'd reduce the number of abortions taking place.

it's a simple issue. don't believe in abortions, don't get one!!!!!!!!!!
