Absolutely not! We just visited them for 3 days over Thanksgiving and I was ready to go home after about the first 2 hours. I certainly couldn't live with them!

Believe it or not, there are places in this world outside of this culture where people still repsect the notion of family and there are places where several generations and extended and in-law families live side by side harmoniously and happily and get along just fine. They're also places that have a far higher percentage of people in their societies who are happy and love life and treat one another with more consistent respect and dignity. I guess we're far, far too superior for that, though.

I get along real well with my Inlaws, and I would like it to stay that way. Living with them would be difficult.

Yes, I've done it before. It lasted about 3 years. Things went sour because of some issues with their eldest son. He has created problems for everyone and I happen to be one of his victim. Since they chose to side with him instead of me and my Husband we left.

They are old and we would love to live with them again, at least that will give our son quality time with them before the worst happens. It would only be possible if they lose all contact with their eldest son. Majority of my sister/brother in laws feel the same way.

My in laws live with us and it is not as bad as you would think she stay in her room most of the time. She don't do nothing to help me but I leaving that for the LORD to handle I just do the best that I can do for her. The same that I would do for anybody else and I would also expect for my husband to do the same thing for my parents if they ever needed us to be there for them.

I only have a mother-in-law and living with her would be extremely difficult in normal situations because of her personality. However, she is getting older and if the day came that she could not take care of herself, I would lovingly invite her in and help take care of her.

Yes I could. I get along great with them, and we have a lot in common besides the family connection.

Would I? I'd prefer to have more privacy.

AAAAAAGH! I'd rather live in the sewage system and eat raw rats. Crackpots. Emotionally redundant, materialistic, greedy, unaware clots. That's a no.

No Way!
She is far too crazy and bossy for my standards. I'm too dependant to live with her anyway... but even if it was a last resort, I'd rather move back in with MY parents.
