Is it because he offers a peaceful solution to the war in Iraq??
Is it because he won't abuse the powers of the executive branch??
Is it because he will strongly uphold the laws of the Constitution, the way our forefathers intentioned??

Or is it just because "Freedom is popular"- Dr. Ron Paul.

He brings people of both political parties because he is not:

A Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) member - so what does this mean? It means that the election is no longer the Democrats against the Republicans - both Dems and Repubs belong to the same groups who are equally controlled by the United Nations, WTO, and the World Bank.

Plus, as much as hard as it is to believe for some the Democratic and Republican party are not the same parties of our grandparents generation, and possibly a generation before. Democrats today when you carefully study the true position of the top tier candidates is one of socialism or communism - study history on this issue before you condemn me, then as to the Republican party their top tier candidates are from the liberal to the fasicst.

Ron Paul is basically on his own. He was a Libertarian, is Republican, and is a Constitutionalist, and I even think the anti-Federalist party from the bygone era would tip their hats to him and give him votes. He isn't attached to the tight strings of the largest paying lobbyist group, nor special interest groups, or even propaganda foundations which exist to control the people and bring in their new world for the elite, and the serf. Top tier candidates of the media are chosen merely do the bidding of the network execs and their corporate owners and Ron Paul doesn't have a price tag on him, nor is he available to mandates of all the special interests of the banking cabal...er, cartel - in fact he wants their interests abolished.

By those who plan to vote should see that it is the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) who are actually driving this political candidate train. All of the so called "top tier" in both parties are members of the CFR, Trilateral and/or Bilderberg Group. There is an article you should read on line: "CFR STACKS THE DECK." Readers, I advise you to look it up and READ it. Huckabee IS a CFR member even though he not on the list - only because the article was written before he joined CFR.

Then there are the Executive Orders associated with FEMA that would suspend what is left of the Constitution and our Bill of Rights. Executive Orders have been on record for nearly 30 years and could be enacted by the stroke of a Presidential pen:…

It also provides that when a state of emergency is declared by the President, Congress cannot review the action for six months. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has broad powers in every aspect of the nation. General Frank Salzedo, chief of FEMA’s Civil Security Division stated in a 1983 conference that he saw FEMA’s role as a “new frontier in the protection of individual and governmental leaders from assassination, and of civil and military installations from sabotage and/or attack, as well as prevention of dissident groups from gaining access to U.S. opinion, or a global audience in times of crisis.” FEMA’s powers were consolidated by President Carter to incorporate the…

If you are for the US staying in the United Nations then are YOU willing to take a pledge to Lucifer? Or a Luciferian initiation? Think I'm crazy for asking these questions? Here is a quote to make you think about this, before calling me crazy.

"No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless he will take a LUCIFERIAN Initiation."
~ David Spangler, Director of Planetary Initiative, United Nations

Another person affiliated with this same rhetoric is none other than New Age guru John Randolph Price (do a goggle and search this for yourself) who is also the Founder of The Planetary Commission.

Not only is the UN for the new age rhetoric, it also is in the process of establishing a ONE WORLD religion. Also, the USA is still against the United Nations sanctioning of the USA to fund forced abortions, just as they pay for the FORCED abortions in China - this is nothing more than the beginning of eugenics/forced population control.

Just as it should be a woman's right to make her own health decisions, without interference of the government, and who should have the right to a safe abortion under certain conditions - I vehemently disagree with the UN placing the USA and it's female population under forced abortion. Just anotehr reason why Ron Paul wants the USA out of the United Nations. I also vehemently oppose Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama voting in favor of tax-payer funded late trimester Partial Birth abortions, and for Barack Obama's wife to send out a fundraising letter in advocation of Partial Birth abortions - this is nothing more than infant genocide.

I am voting for someone who is for getting America out of the United Nations. Someone who is PRO-life for ALL human beings - in-womb, young and old and not for the Rockefeller, Rothschild, and funding Carnegie Foundations - Ted Turner, and Bill Gates who as well SUPPORT eugenics or the Human Genome Project which Bill Clinton advocated, and Hillary advocates. The elite are in a race to control the population.

The guy I support wants to abolish the income tax, and it should be abolished as it is against the law of the Constitution and the Supreme Court. Even with regard to the 16th amendment, evidence strongly suggests that the 16th Amendment, which establishes the income tax, was not approved properly as required by the Constitution and was fraudulently ratified - therefore making it unlawful.

"If this evidence is true, the income tax is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people," says Robert L. Schulz.

Also there is absolutely no law on record, or in any book, which states we must pay this. Ron Paul wants to restore our republic, and the monies of it's public to be their own, without the paws of the banking elite taking free money from the laborer - including his bill for tax free tips, which I surely hope will pass, because many people can appreciate the extra monies they work hard for in service type jobs.

Ron Paul is for reinstating our liberties which were taken away by Bush's executive orders and both Patriot Acts 1 and 2.

He is about getting our troops out of Iraq and not about to start a war with Iran - this would mean the next World War as we know it and with all the depleted uranium in the air we breath now - who knows the many countries who will suffer from this. Also, it is of my opinion, that RP knows that it is not Iran, or Iraq, to which we should be fighting - but the Saudis. Yes, the Saudis check it out and research this - don't rely on the mainstream blackout media.

RP voted to protect the Pledge of Allegiance. He voted YES to ending preferential treatment to those entering college. This includes all the illegals. He is against the RFID National ID card which will track every move you make from travel in your car to purchases in your very own home. RFID is already in the passports to travel abroad from the USA. Is RFID going to go into a human - well he hopes not, but it probably will if isn't elected.

RP wants to bring our diminishing dollar back to where is should be and make our country strong again. He understands the debasement of our dollar. He sees and recognizes the problem with the FACT that the USA borrows $3 BILLION dollars DAILY from Japan and/or China to keep this current war going - he wants to stop that. If we go to war with Iran, how much will it cost us then - in dollars, debt, deaths, and ???

RP wants to legalize the hemp industry to give farmers a chance to sustain their land. He wants to abolish the CIA since he (as many Americans) know they are our Drug Dealers at Mena Airport in Arkansas and keeping the war on drugs a relentless and useless direction.

He wants to legalize medical marijuana. Because he knows, since is a physician, that it can help people with the following possible medical uses such as: Nausea, Glaucoma, Chronic-Pain, Multiple Sclerosis, and more...

He knows inner-city youths are punished unfairly in the war on drugs.

The war on drugs has abused our Bill of Rights.

He believes in property rights being the foundation right for the American homeowner and is against eminent domain, and maybe if he is elected he can bring back the Homestead Act here in California.

He is against United Nations troops here on American soil, such as in the state of Montana.

He voted NO on increasing AMTRAK funding as he knows they are the fore-runner for FEMA "Operation Gardenplot" detention camps (and Plan Rex84).

He believes the American people have the right to bear arms to protect their family and home, as provided by the 2nd amendment. I could go on, but if this hasn't moved you by now, then nothing I write will.

As for myself, I am standing behind issues that affect me. I take natural health supplements - such as pesticide and filler free vitamin/herbal supplements. I also want my own personal right to consume safe food to eat - not only for myself, but my pet too. I don't want to consume mandated genetically modified (GM) frankenfood that Cargill, Monsanto, Tyson, ADM, and DuPont sell to an unsuspecting public and Ron Paul wants to do away with the FDA because he knows (as do I) that they are for the special interest groups, and the pharmaceutical companies. If they weren't then explain to me why they mandate NATURAL supplements, why do they do the American public a disservice in not mandating that the companies who do use genetically modified food LABEL it on the package to make the consumer aware...but they don't and right now anyone reading this maybe consuming GM frankenfood and never know it. They may be paying for their own demise of the health - and never know it...this is sad.

I refuse to bow down to what the media and corporations insist on telling me what is sacred these days. What they consider sacred is nothing more than poisons, marketed to take your money, dupe your mind, or take a little bit of your health away, along with your rights - these are the sacred cows of today people - the all mighty dollar to break our country and our people based on lies, lies, lies. The media and the corporations have become our teachers, so we are bless them and thank them mindlessly.

Nonintervention, not isolationism: Paul upholds a foreign policy of nonintervention. This policy avoids entangling alliances with other nations, in the tradition of Washington, Jefferson, and Madison, in order to avoid being drawn into wars not related to defense. He believes that war must be fought only to protect citizens, it must be declared by the U.S. Congress, and it must be concluded when the victory is complete as planned: "The American public deserves clear goals and a definite exit strategy in Iraq." He has also said that rather than closing U.S. military bases, the government should build fewer bases internationally and keep as many U.S. bases open as possible. RP denies being an isolationist: he advocates "conducting open trade, travel, communication, and diplomacy with other nations".

RP is the ONLY 100% Anti-Terrorist candidate running on the Republican ticket. The ruling government of Iraq is dominated by the psychopathic gang of murderers known as the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) and the Islamic Al Dawa Party, who are the very same Islamic Terrorist Parties which bombed the US & French Embassies in Kuwait and murdered 241 United States Marines in Beirut in 1983. Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, of the Al Dawa Party, was the Al Dawa bureau chief in Damascus in the 1980s and was thus heavily responsible for Al Dawa operations in Beirut, while parliament member Jamal Jafaar Mohammed of his ruling coalition is one of the "Kuwait 17", still under a Kuwaiti death sentence (in absentia) for his direct involvement in the vicious attack on the US Embassy in Kuwait!

Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate calling for an immediate END to all Military and financial support for the criminal Islamic Terrorist thug-regime of Iraq.
RO is the RIGHT Candidate on Illegal Immigration.

Ron Paul voted for the Secure Fence Act of 2006. “Amnesty for lawbreakers is not the answer, and it’s time to rethink birthright citizenship,” Paul added. ("Paul Votes for Stronger Border Security")

Ron Paul is a co-sponsor of HR 487, which "expresses the sense of Congress that the United States should not engage in the construction of a NAFTA superhighway or enter into any plans to create a North American Union between Canada, the U.S., and Mexico."

"We need to allocate far more resources, both in terms of money and manpower, to securing our borders and coastlines here at home. This is the most critical task before us, both in terms of immigration problems and the threat of foreign terrorists. Unless and until we secure our borders, illegal immigration and the problems associated with it will only increase." – Ron Paul

RP is the ONLY socially-conservative candidate defending the independence of the Christian church from Federal "Faith-Based Socialism" and one world religion based organizations such as the United Nations - as I stated above.

"Government funding of religious organizations will transform them into adjuncts of the federal welfare state, more concerned about obeying federal rules and regulations than fulfilling the obligations of their faith." – Ron Paul (source).

Every other so-called "social conservative" candidate actually FAVORS this underhanded Orwellian Federal assault on the Freedom of the Christian Church.

RP is the RIGHT Candidate for a FREE Republic.

So let's look at Barack Obama as a contender if Ron Paul is nominated to the presidential election: Do you realize Obama by being a CFR member must SUPPORT NASCO, NAFTA, Cintra trucks, Texas Trans Corridor and the North American Union? Every toll collected on the new highway will go to Spain, not the USA. You are helping to abolish America as we know it if you vote for him. Michelle Obama works on the Board of Directors for the CFR in Chicago. Obama voted AGAINST an amendment to the Immigration Bill, 1348 to make English the official language of America. Obama wants to give grants for college to illegal aliens – he is on record saying this in California at a high school he visited. This would make it on the same terms and grounds as those who are citizens, or legalized aliens...is this fair? I don’t think so. Why should I have to press #1 on the phone to get English? Why should my son or daughter have to give up a grant to go to college (I can’t afford to send them on my wages) to an ILLEGAL person who came here ILLEGALLY. I cannot support that.

Another issue that bothers me about Barack Obama is this: After reading an article authored by a Reverend. Schenck, the article made it quite evident that, if Mr. Obama subscribes to his church's Black Value System, it doesn't matter whether or not he is a Christian or a Moslem. Such a subscription would make him a socially and culturally dangerous racist – I cannot support anyone as a leader of our country, when we are hated as much as we are – thanks to Bush, to put someone in the White House who could even be thought of as a racist. So, let us not look at Ron Paul as racist, I think we should look at Obama.

I will cast my vote for Ron Paul, because he unites Democrat and Republican, Independent, Black, White, Yellow, Brown and green – he unites as PEOPLE under ONE NATION, and that nation will neither be fascist, nor socialist - it will be a FREE republic of the PEOPLE and FOR THE PEOPLE.

Does any other candidate on the Republican ticket do that? On the Dem ticket the closest to RP would be Dennis Kucinich.

Come on now - Ron Paul is a politician and nothing more. He can't do one thing unless the congress agrees with him - and congress hasn't agreed to much of anything he has to say. You have an incorrect idea of what politics is all about and presidential candidates will pretty much say ANYTHING to get into office. After they are in office then they conveniently forget what they said they would do. You better study all the candidates before you cast your vote in November 2008!

Not sure he does. Not bashing him, but we won't know how effective his campaign is until he's in the White House. And even then, we won't know if he really brings people from both parties together.

But if history teaches us anything, he won't bring both parties together. No one can. I think such a thing is considered un-American. May even be against federal law.

Ron Paul is a nut that appeals to the ininformed dreamers. He will not win the Republican nomination for President. If he runs at all it will be as a Libertarian, which is what he is, and he will still lose.

This is Yahoo! Answers, not campaign central. If you're going to promote your candidate, try not to be so overtly obvious.

Ron Paul has not "brought me together", and I don't think he's brought a lot of others together, either, considering his poll numbers.

Yes, he raised a lot of money, but money isn't everything (Rep. Paul should know that!)

he's an idealist and ideals are great for roping people in. But, unless everyone he deals with as President (congress, lobbyists, other countires) are just as idealistic, he'll fail quickly. Remember, a president needs experience maneuvering through the political quagmire, not just ideals.
