sorry i was wrong

Proceeding with our experiments we fill out the additive color- mixing chart as follows:

Green + red = yellow
Green + blue = cyan (light blue)
Red + blue = magenta
Red + blue + green = white

Subtractive colors, as the name suggests, work by subtracting certain colors from white light and reflecting the rest, like so:

Yellow pigment absorbs blue--reflects red, green
Cyan absorbs red--reflects green, blue
Magenta absorbs green--reflects red, blue
Blue absorbs red, green--reflects blue
Red absorbs blue, green--reflects red
Green absorbs blue, red--reflects green

Yellow is a primary color. You cannot mix any colors to make it. If you mix orange and yellow- depending on what you're doing- and what other colors you're using it might be able to "pass" as something that should be yellow (like a school bus or sun) but it will never be yellow.

If you are mixing lights (additive mixing) it's red and green.

If you are talking printers or paint (subtractive mixing), then yellow is a subtractive primary colour, as is magenta and cyan. This means that you cannot "make" it from any other colour.

I'm pretty sure orange and white will make yellow with the right amounts.

If you are using paint, you can make yellow by mixing various amounts of white and orange.

Is this a serious question?! lol
