We differ in many ways from ants.
We are not so much pheromone- dependent.
In mode of reproduction too we differ markedly.

If you consider that there is no farmer, you can call it anything you want.
The scientific inquiry into the vastness and complexity of life just began in the West some 400 years ago. The Indian conceptualization about that subject is millenia old, and that cosmology is being confirmed as scientific inquiry has become more sophisticated. We could be ants, or some other form of experiment, or part of a cosmic parasite.
The real question is what can we do to improve our lives and stop creating so many negative cause-effects.
That is the question that frightens because it involves responsibility and counteracting of some evolved traits.
The difficulty of facing responsibility is what makes pure speculation so attractive.

Well, I can associate ants with hard working laborers, but I see so many non working , lazy, neer-do-wells that I can safely blurt out
"Ants? ants? You got to be kidding".
Sheep maybe, because of our propensity to being docile and non questioning, easy to herd, etc.
But wait, there are many of us who are ridiculously goats, digging our heels in and retaining our ground for any silly cause.
We, my friend might just be a noahs ark. We are everything the earth has given birth to, a cornucopia of both ornery and docile creatures, big and small. Another term might be "the lab experiments"of god. Lol.

ants? no. we are humans. but we are like ants. in more ways then one.
also like ants, we do not have the ability to comprehend that which is larger then we our.
an ant may know it should fear and run when a little boy is trying to burn it with a magnifying glass, or step on it, but they can not see the being that is trying to kill it.
i would love to be able to see through the eyes of an ant even for one minute. i wouldnt doubt it if they dont even see solid figures like we do.
there are 2 dimensions (there are more but for the purpose of this explanation i am discussing only 2).
one dimension is the life or reality that we consider to be truth, such as ourselves, and the ants. the birds and the bees, even the weather. these are all things of the earth, which give to the earth, and which, even if it is unknowing, keep the earth alive. all living thing has its own purpose in this world, and everything it does it does in order to keep the earth "running smoothly".
even we have a purpose, but maybe our purpose is, not more important, but diferent then the ants. and what we are here doing is thinking, our thoughts and emotions are what keeps the earth moving at its pace.
so all living things are part of one dimension, which is the dimension of "upkeep", to make sure the earth is healthy and constantly moving, with no "setbacks".
the other dimension is the dimension of that which we all make up. if it wasnt for the ants and all the other living beings doing their jobs as they do the earth would change, and because of the earths change, that which the earth is maintaining would change as well. that which the earth is maintaining is the other dimension. it is what we are creating.
i often look at it as if we dont exist (though we apparently do). rather it is our existence which allows that which we create to exist.
i look at the entire universe, when as a whole, as a being, and i look at all the objects within the universe as the atoms which create that being, similar to how when we (supposedly) look into our bodies we see nothing but objcects making us.
that is how i see the universe.
the "atoms" or particles (sometimes molecules) that make up our bodies must be maintained in order for it to stay the same. so just like the molecules in our body need to be maintained by the particles that make them up in order for our bodies to be healthy and stay the same, the planets in the universe must be maintained by the "beings" that live on them and the substances it is composed of in order for the universe to be "healthy" and stay the same.
it is also like our body in the sense that if a particle (or planet) becomes infected we (or the universe) will remove that particle, or destroy that which causes that particle to be "corrupt" thus then causing all things to go back to the way the usually are in order to maintain a sense of normality, or health.
often times i go to far into it and i say that we are creating our selves, and that is why i always go so far into the fact that at times i see how we dont "exist".
so then, we are not ants.
but we are also no diferent then ants as well.
we must respect them, and all other living beings (trees and animals) in order for us not to become that which composes the infection, or corruption, so that we are not removed by the universe, and so that we can stay in the universe (big world) and live for eternity. (just like the particles within OUR world live for eternity by splitting up, combining, dieing, and coming back to life).
we and the ants are "brothers". we both work at preserving this world, and thus the universe that we live in and create.
we are the same. (except, if anything they are better because they dont fail to constantly do that which they are here to do, whereas we weave away from our purpose often times - though that can not be known for fact if our purpose is not known to us, and maybe our purpose is simply to have thought and feelings, and it is our thoughts and our feelings, of which can be broken down into being either good or evil, and it is they that partake in the maintaining of the universe. - who knows, but i know we can never know, we can only try and do what we feel is right. )
i hope you find what you are looking for.
good luck to you.
and good night.
