I would say, "Beware" and would report the teacher. But as it is only an academic question, it does not matter, does it?
The way you put the question makes it understandable that some took it as if you were in that situation.

When you are a teenager everything seems so huge...feelings, no feelings...if they love back...if you love...a fight,..a pimple..lol Just enjoy your time being a teen and don't get to caught up in the fantasies of it all. At 16 a crush on a teacher is just that..and it's flirting with a dangerous situation. Don't mess with it and move on to things more age appropriate and have fun.

Sweetheart...your not in love...its a crush - an infatuation. Has your teacher actually told you that hes in love with you..? If so Im afraid he should not be teaching. If he is returning your advances in any form whatsoever, then he should be removed from his position. If you and this person are determined to have a relationship, wait until you have left school, then see where it takes you. Theres big trouble and heartache down the road your on.....X

Crushes happen, but you mustn't act on them. The teacher will get fired and may go to jail, and his career will be in ruins.
The girl will walk away with nothing more than a severe reprimand and probable grounding from her parents.
If it goes wrong, this circumstance is the most damaging thing a girl can do to a guy (short of stabbing or murdering him).

That the teacher in question should not be teaching.
He has a duty of care to the pupils at the school.
That doesn't mean he has the right to get involved in a relationship with one of the pupils.
This teacher should be reported.

This is not good. The teacher should really no better. He's looking at doing some serious time behind bars if he doesn't mind his p's and q's.
And you ought to know better as well.
Your words were pretty clear. You needn't try to backtrack.

you don't say how old the teacher is.....
but if hes your teacher he has to be alot older than you and he should know better......
you are to young to relay know what true love is and i'ed say you fancy him alright....as many young people are attrected to there peers......
but thats all it is......you should be looking for a boy your own age....
