My husband is 59 years old. We have been married for 28 years. Over this period of time I have noticed that he seems to have a special affection for one of my niece's. She just turned 50 in November. Whenever a special occasion come up when all family is gathered or if we should happen to go into the store where she works he seems to be a bit on edge. At one time I had suspected that something was or had gone on between them. I have mentioned it to him on several occasions. This last weekend we attended a family gathering. At the end of the evening when she and her husband were leaving she came over to give me a hug as usual, when she went to hug him, it appeared to be more than just a casual hug. It was very noticable. I warned him tha the next time it happened that I would make it known to her and her husband plus he would regret that it happened. Question: What should I do about this problem.

If you no longer trust your husband, then tell him.... this is an issue between you and your husband, not you, your husband, your neice and her husband.

If your husband is attracted to your neice, and he makes it noticeable, it's not her fault, it's his.

A person who makes threats, doesn't have a lot of self-esteem. and what good would it do to cause an uproar and make your neice's husband's life miserable? He didnt do anything.

Maybe it's time to take a look at your life and figure out what is best for YOU?

That's alot of years to let go! Why don't you just ask the niece an see? You might get your answer with her! You might find you problems are for no reason. Start with her an then go on what she says! Stay away from FAMILY! They are blood but they bite just as hard as a stranger would! Good Luck

You already talked to your husband about it so that put him on notice.

If you talk to her be discreet.

Don't tell her husband or any other family members as that can start a fight over something you think and not know.

If anybody else confronts you about it be quiet and don't respond to them at all.

If this is all you've got to go on you probably need to just forget about it. Was he humping and grinding? Did he give her a kiss with some tongue? And to make a stink to her husband and the family. That could come back to bite you in the @ss!

Listen to your intuition - women just know stuff especially when it comes to their relationships - and other women. You need to confront your husband and demand the truth or perhaps get them together and confront both of them. After investing 28 years of your life into this marriage it is a "take no prisoners situation". Don't put up with any more bull crap.

Well you already confronted your hubby so now next talk to your neice and tell her that if this continues that you will bring this to light with her hubby. That should put out the flame quite quickly unless of course it doesnt matter to her then you have a problem on your hands and you might end up having to divorce hubby and dis own your neice.
