How long after you have a baby do you normally start your period? My baby weighed nine pounds, so idk.

All depends on how quickly your hormones rebalance themselves. After my 9 lb. daughter was born, it was almost 30 days to date and I had a regular period. Same thing with my 7 lb son.

I'm not sure, but I don't think the size of the baby has anything to do with it. Your vagina is stretched and torn as is your cervix, but your ovaries and fallobian tubes are left pretty much unchanged except for chemical changes.

Everybody is different and it might depend on when you go back on the pill or if you're nursing. Ask your doctor when you go back for your prenatal checkup.

i began breastfeeding then stopped bc of low milk preoduction and that was after 2 weeks when i stopped and stopped bleeding at 4 weeks and started my period when my baby was 3 1/2 months. it all depends everybody is different

with my first i stopped bleeding from the delivery about three weeks later and then a week after that i started my period with my second i bled a full six weeks after c section and started about 3 or 4 days later

depends whether youre breastfeeding because that supresses youre periods from returning usually about 5 weeks.

For me, it was approximately nine months. I nursed all of mine.
