I was talking to some people and they said there is a song by Johnny Horton that is a very racial song (I Hate N-----). I have never heard this before....out of all my searching I haven't found this song....I found it by Johnny REBEL not Horton... but these people still believe it's by Johnny Horton...please help? I just don't believe he would record something like that.....I think it was just miss attributed to Johnny Horton....thanks!

I do not think Johnny Horton put out anything like that. I know David Alan Coe did, but not Johnny Horton.

Tex is 100 % correct with his answer. Johnny Horton didn't and never would record anything like that. I also do know that David Alan Coe did a complete album of racial and porn type songs using his own label DAC.

Johnny Horton was pure , very patriotic , that song is By Johnny Rebel , he has a whole library of racial songs.

You're correct, it was miss attributed when someone put it up on one of those file sharing sites under Horton's name. A shame, really!

No, it wasn't him, but if you search on Limewire, etc, his name may pop up...people have mistaken the names, that'all. It was more likely David Allen Coe.

Not only were these people wrong but they are stupid as well. This is the kind of ignorance that hurts good people.
