Our fore-fathers fought for a free land and a free country that was ruled by the people. As people change, so too does the country.

They also fought for a constitution and government that has the ablility to handle all challenges that arose--not only those that the founders could comprehend at the time, but those yet to come.

Yes and No.

The ideals of life, liberty, and property are good things, and the loss of them is bad.

The practice of disgusting human behavior under the protection of freedom is bad.

Personal Freedom and Responsibility to Others are both needed.

Well, the overall respect that we have lost for our country is bad. I mean, really. The energy and thought that those wise gentlemen put into writing those documents is unbelievable. Their concern for their new home was beyond our comprehension, yet we run them and this country into the ground ... day after day.
