How do you remove regular pencil marks from a natural color canvas without damaging it or a felt pen? I want to cover over the pencil with a felt tip marker but then how do i remove the excess pencil?

Usually a kneaded eraser will do the best job of erasing pencil without damaging paper. I am not sure how it will work on canvas, but you might want to test it in a small, discreet area.

The next eraser up from that is a magic rub eraser.

Hope this helps. Best wishes

As long as the pencil has not been applied with a lot of pressure, then a kneaded eraser, or a soft artgum eraser should remove the excess graphite. But if the line has been pressed too hard, it may never come completely off.

If a regular eraser doesn't work, Mr Clean Magic Eraser will.
