Can these computers be connected to a wireless N router?

Question

I wanna buy a new computer that'll be connected to a modem -(which is connected to my present computer) through a router. But I want to know if the following computers can connect to a N router? I don't really understand what requirements computers need to make them N router capable.

Well, the N standard has really not been finalized. Most laptops will not have N cards in them since no one manufacturer has a fixed standard. To get the full benefit of N speed all devices will need to be N rated.

All B and G cards will work with the N routers, you just won't get the speed when a b or g card is used with it. But they will connect and work just fine.

The only place this really makes a difference is on LOCAL networking.. The internet speed is well below even the B standard in most places.

As far as connecting with cables (ethernet 10/100/1000) all ethernet cards will connect just fine to the N routers also. If the N router supports 1000 then you get 1000 as long as all connected units also support that. If you only have 100 speed network cards, they still work, just not as fast!

As the other fellow said, any wireless adapter can connect to an N router, you just won't get the N speed if it's a B or G adapter.
