I'm 33 and I'm saving for retirement. My 401k at work is changing. We had a financial planner speak and he said by 2048 there will be no social security. I buy stock, have an IRA, mutual funds and participate in my 401k plan at work. I worry about the future. I wish I had started a 401k plan when I was 20. Back then it was party money, shopping for clothes etc. If you work for a company that offers a 401k.....I highly recommend putting money into it. Put in as much as you can.

I am 61 and probably don't have enough for full retirement, although I am now retired from employment. Now work from home helping others, by sharing a business opportunity which is giving me a residual income.
What is great about it is, the more I share the opportunity, and others see it for what it can do for them, the more I will earn.
Now my income will increase well above anything I am likely to need for the rest of my life but then my children can inherit it and they will be comfortable for their lived as well.

You're never too young to start saving, and I only wish I had saved more early on.
I am in my early 30s and have about $12000 in retirement, and put away 13% every month. It's not enough, but it's on the right track.

I am 16 and I have no money saved away yet. But I do plan to start saving in a few weeks. I've been in an Investment class that has taught the benefits of money and how to use it, things i wouldnt otherwise have known. I just got hired at my new job, so saving my funds is a top priority. Hope this helps!!
