Like family guy, happy tree friends, and dragonball-z? I was just wondering do they differ from other cartoons like batman or yugioh. I don't know, they have different content. But, they are cartoons nontheless. WHat do you think?

they may be for kids but they are also the only thing "Real" on TV.

Family guy is not targeted to kids, its targeted towards 14+ but most of it is very adult humor. I would never let a young kid watch, that. Only us adults watch it late at night on adult swim. Dragonball Z and those kinds of cartoons are for kids or people really into that kind of animation.
Kids cartoons would be like
spongebob
pokemon
backyardigans
scooby doo
courage the cowardly dog
any on nick
adult/14 up cartoons
futurama
family guy
american dad
robot chicken
the really odd cartoon with a meatball

Maybe 10 years ago cartoon were for kiddies, now, I think they are aiming for teens and up. My hubby and I love Family Guy, and if you're fan, you know the majority of the content is not kid friendly. Back in high school, I was a South Park fan, again, not kid friendly. So...it really depends. I grew up with Bugs Bunny, Woody Wood Pecker, old Walt Disney, and the like...you don't see too much of that anymore. My thoughts, friend.

i think they are for kids of my generation(teenagers) who still like cartoons but need them to be funny ad not so much cute in order to avoid looking like a loser. and ya they are different from batman and all of those cartoons. family guy,happy tree frineds, etc are a adult content thing...

American Dad, Family Guy , Futurama seems to be targeted for teens-adults. They say and do things that kids shouldn't. Like that episode on American Dad when he was against the gay people wanting a baby. That's stuff kids don't know about. :) hehe
