I'm 14, nearly 14 and still my breasts haven't really developed. I am still size AA but have begun puberty (i.e started period quite a long time ago and my hips/figure has formed.)

I thought breasts developed around the start of puberty?:(
Most of my women relatives have large breasts (D and above) so should I end up with around a C or will the fact that I am developing late affect my final size?

They seemed to develop a bit a few months ago but now they are stuck at the first stage, and are almost flat apart from a small bumped/pointed shape to them.
Is something wrong, as they aren't developing at the same rate as the rest of my body?
Thanks
Taffy

You are only fourteen!!!!!!!!!!

You grow into your 20's, so stop worrying if you will grow or not.

Love your body.

And stop looking at your family to see if you will be their size. It isn't all genetics. My family were all C's and I ended up a J cup.

You're still growing and there is nothing wrong with not filling out quickly. I didn't reach my full size until I was 17.

Genetics will play a factor to some extent but there are always going to be exceptions -- I've got 4 sisters and 2 of us are on the larger side -- c & d cups, but one is a b and one an a cup.

Bra cup size also can be influenced by weight gain/loss-- as mine is. When I hit my normal size I was a 34C at 17 when I weighed 115 lbs. -- but at 53, I'm now a 38D at 165lbs and have gone down from a 40D.

For now, my best advice is to be patient.

My breasts started developing when I was 10, but they grew until I was about 22. You still have plenty of time for them to grow. You may not end up quite as big as a D, but you should get bigger.

Breasts grow throughout your teens. You're only just starting. They will grow more. You will eventually reach your first adult size at 17 or 18.

I know because it happened to me.

When I was 14, I was 32AAA. I was a 32B at 17. I am a 36C now as an adult. I am the same size as my mother.

Relax...I was in the same predicament! You are normal but everyone is different...they will grow when they are ready and until then just be patient! Maybe talk to your mom or doctor if you still feel uncomfortable!
