Someone just told me that they are doing this so they will have money to live on after the settlement from Nick's (Hogan's son) accident where he paralyzed another person.
Anyone have any details or thoughts?

No they are getting a divorce because they hate eachother. Thats a crackpot theory. On their reality show, they had to pretend they liked eachother for ratings.

Sounds like a good idea but they have been going to marriage counseling and been having problems well before nicks accident so I highly doubt that is the reason
Hulk Hogan would just show up to another raw event and make a million dollars if he needed money.

Nick Hogan didn't paralyzed the passenger; he's in a vegetative state.
I don't really care if they get divorced.

Probably.
It is sad to say, but it is the smartest thing to do. The other family will probably try to get everything they can.
It won't make their son any better, but they will have medical costs for the rest of the kids life.

I heard it was because of brooke's career....hulk pulled the plug to brookes career, and linda didn't want that..so she's taking brooke to L.A to promote her career

there son was an adult, thus they don't have any obligation
to pay his bills and i'm sure would never volunteer
i think they just hate each other
